The Shungite Room

The Angel Cooperative® is home to the first Shungite Room in the USA. There is almost 2 tons of stone in the 13’x13’ room on six walls. It is located inside The Angel Cooperative®.

Shungite is said to be around 2 billion years old. It is the only natural material known to contain fullerenes, a unique carbon molecular structure (also known as a buckyball). A Nobel prize was awarded in 1996 for the discovery. The energy embodied within this extraordinarily positive ancient stone is said to help absorb and eliminate anything that is a health hazard to human life. It is believed to have active metaphysical properties with strong healing powers.

The Shungite Room and The Angel Wing host workshops, retreats, energy sessions, angelic, tarot and oracle card readings, channeling, reiki, massage, sound baths and sound healings, yoga classes for all levels, and guided meditation led by a group of talented and experienced practitioners and teachers.

Partners Laura Ancona and Christy Abate have created a store that embodies positive energy with a wide variety of merchandise and services which reflect that mission.

The Angel Wing, our divine spiritual center

The Angel Wing is located at 49 Ethan Allen Hwy, Ridgefield, CT

The Angel Wing is next door to The Angel Cooperative and the entrance is around the back.

The Angel Wing, our divine spiritual center, is located next door to TheAngel Cooperative®. Sacred spaces inside The Angel Wing include a large room and a private treatment room. The large room hosts yoga classes, group and individual sound healings, workshops, and retreats. The private room offers massage, acupuncture, reiki sessions, healings, and readings. Our intention is to create a sacred space for spiritual practice of all types.

Our retail store has a large selection of crystals, incense, divination tools, inspired gifts, jewelry, spiritual items, essential oils, statues, home décor & MORE!

Upstairs The Angel Wing hosts a large variety of yoga classes, qigong, psychic/mediumship readings, workshops and ceremonies, retreats, group and/or individual practice sessions, energy work, reiki, classes, meditation, massage, sound baths, and more.

Parking:

There is street parking on Cherry Street and a car park in the rear of our building accessed via Burtis Ave (go to Main St and turn down Burtis Ave - it's a one way road).

You can also use one of the many parking lots offered by the Town of New Canaan and walk a short distance to the shop and spiritual center.

The store is on the 1st floor and the spiritual center - classes, workshops, ceremonies, readings, energywork, etc - is on the 2nd floor.

Use the front entrance facing East Ave.
