Beverly Leighton

Beverly is a dedicated yoga instructor with a passion for making movement. accessible to. every body. While she teaches a variety of yoga styles,  she specializes in. Chair. Yoga, offering safe, supportive and engaging classes. that promote strength, flexibility, balance, mobility. and relaxation.  (All while having fun!)

She has had the privilege and honor of teaching Chair Yoga at senior centers, assisted living communities and rehabilitation facilities where she has witnessed the positive impact that gentle movement and mindful breathing can have on physical and emotional well being. She also offers private and group sessions by appointment, thoughtfully adapting each class to meet the unique needs, goals and abilities of her students.

Her teaching style is compassionate, encouraging and inclusive. Beverly has always strived to create a welcoming environment where everyone. feels confident moving at their own pace while honoring their own limitations and capabilities. Whether someone is recovering from an injury, managing a health condition, looking to improve mobility or simply seeking a gentle way to stay active, her goal is to help each student feel stronger, more balanced and more connected to themselves.

Beverly believes it's never too late to begin or continue a wellness journey. Through mindful movements, breathwork (even a little dancing) and a supportive community, she hopes to inspire others to discover that yoga is truly for everyone...one breath, one movement and one class at a time. Afterall, it's not what you can't do, it's what you can do!
